Gregory Shif

As a student at BASIS Independent Brooklyn, my focus lies at the intersection of economics, entrepreneurship, and public service. Whether I’m leading my school community as Student Body Vice President, building social-impact projects like Shif & Friends, competing nationally in DECA, or developing startup concepts including Virolytic AI, I approach every initiative with curiosity, analytical thinking, and a commitment to meaningful change.

My interests span economic policy, business strategy, innovation, and global affairs. Fluent in Russian and proficient in Spanish, I value cross-cultural communication and see leadership not as a title, but as service — a responsibility to build, uplift, and contribute.

Future innovator, civic leader, and economic thinker. I’m driven by a mission to understand how business, policy, and technology shape real-world decisions — and to build solutions that create measurable impact.
